Co-Founder, Creative Wellbeing & Community Outreach Lead
Swabra creates inclusive spaces where children, adults and older community members can connect, express themselves and strengthen their wellbeing through creativity and compassionate engagement.
Swabra Osman-Ali is a co-founder of Albain Institute and leads its creative wellbeing and community outreach initiatives. She holds a master's degree in business administration and has a deep personal interest in art, creative practice and interior design.
Swabra oversees Albain's intergenerational art programme, which brings younger and older members of the community together through shared creative experiences. The programme provides a welcoming and healthy outlet for people navigating dementia, bereavement, loneliness and the physical or emotional changes that may accompany ageing.
She also leads Albain's prison outreach programme for children and young people in remand settings. Swabra is a passionate advocate for creating safe, nurturing spaces in which children can express themselves, learn practical life skills and develop tools for resilience.
