Innayah uses film, storytelling and creative communication to explore meaningful ideas, amplify underrepresented voices and encourage greater understanding between people.
Innayah Adil is a Nairobi-based filmmaker and communications creative with experience in writing, directing, acting, design, marketing and media. She graduated cum laude from the United States International University-Africa with a degree in Film Production and Directing, concentrating in Screenwriting.
Her creative work explores social commentary and underrepresented stories, while her communications experience spans film, knowledge management and mental health. She is particularly interested in using storytelling, design and creative communication to connect with audiences and deepen understanding.
At Albain Institute, Innayah works closely with Swabra Osman-Ali within the creative unit. Her imagination, enthusiasm and thoughtful eye for detail always bring added sparkle to Albain's creative work.
